Twilight Princess is available on the Wii U only on March 4th! Take a look at me playing it on the huge 15 foot screen at the Nintendo NY store. For more on the Reopening take a look at the ribbon cutting ceremony here.
We arrived at the Nintendo NY store at 9 am, and already the line was down and around the block! People must have spent the night waiting for Nintendo World to reopen at noon.
I am so grateful I am a Nintendo Kid Reviewer because I was able to go in early, and attend the ribbon cutting ceremony with Charles Martinet the voice of Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi.
I had my birthday party at the Nintendo Store last year, and I loved the store then, but now its even cooler!
The new look includes a 15 foot screen which I really enjoyed playing Twilight Princess on, new demo stations for both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
“Nintendo is constantly evolving its experiences for fans,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “The new Nintendo NY store is a must-see location for anyone that has a memory of Nintendo, or who wants to see what Nintendo has in store for the future.”
I agree, and plan to spend much more time in the Nintendo NY store, and hope you will join me!
My friends at Nintendo sent me the coolest Valentine’s Day cards and candies to share with my friends. With cards from Splatoon, Mario, and Legends of Zelda and candies I know they are going to love them. Telling them I care about them the way I love best with NINTENDO, is awesome!
So go ahead and Grab a little Nintendo Love, but be sure to ask your parents before you download and print.
It feels like we have planned and replanned my Yoshi Wooly World playdate with my friends like 4 times already. My cousins were sick then my mom was sick, then my cousins again! What gives?! Finally I took control and said thats it, we are having my party.
So we did, mom drove me, my sis and cousin up to my friends house so the three of us, him and his brothers could have a Yoshi’s Wooly World Playdate, and untangle some fun! Take a look, Mom added in some party printables for you to use for a Yoshi Wooly World themed party.
Stay tuned for my full video coming next week on Yoshi’s Wooly World.
You can use these below as invites they are both PDF files so you can edit them. Download the PDF files
Hey guys! JD here…. This is how my videos normally start out….
Well that is until my mom edits them LOL. We spent a little over a week trying to understand the Elgato Capture HD60. When I say we I mean the parentals.
One week later, several trips to Best Buy, (for gear I am sure they did not need), I have this video of me playing Splatoon. Obviously we need improvement but for a first timer it will have to do!
Have you ever played Splatoon?
My dad works ALOT! So spending time with him is sometimes hard. You can’t imagine how excited, and grateful I was when Mom scored Dad and I two tickets to Comic Con!
Comic Con for us started with a breakfast at the Nintendo booth, and a little bit of playtime with YoKai Watch, due out 11/6/15.
Can’t wait to get your hands on it? I know the feeling, so I will let you in on a little secret you can actually pre-order the downloadable version HERE, or you can pre-order the retail version or the Bundle, (YO-KAI WATCH along with the Nintendo 2DS system) from Best Buy.
Review to come soon!
I then walked around with my dad and checked out some of the limited edition figures, toys and met some of the coolest characters. Of course we shopped too! Dad and I got the coolest Five Nights at Freddys t-shirts.
Comic Con was AWWWeeSOME and I am so grateful to have attended with my dad:)
Super Mario Maker is availble for the Wii U and it is the coolest game ever!
For starters Nintendo rocks! They have now given us the chance to play Super Mario on our own board. We can create our own Mario levels by using our Wii U game pad, by simply dragging and dropping objects into the course of our choice. Yep thats right we can add, as many enemies, power ups, pipes as we want too. I like the cool hand that comes across the screen while we are creating the levels, showing its really me creating each level.
I love Super Mario Maker because…
- I have the ability to use four different Super Mario game themes, six different level themes, to create, play and save each board.
- I can make giant Gumbas stacked on top of each other and combine enemies for uncommon outcomes like having a pirhana plant shoot cannons etc
- You can use amibos to change into different costumes by tapping the amibo on your Wii U gamepad or by completing the 100 Mario Challenge
- Your copy of Super Mario Maker comes with a Mario amibo, and a special booklet filled with fun ideas to design courses, like a how to get started booklet.
Let me know what you think about the game!
Kicking and screaming? Me Nope! It’s third grade and I got this!
I am so ready for the third grade, ready to make new friends, meet a new teacher and hopefully become more organized (mom is over my shoulder, I had to write that part).
Weather here is a little crazy, not too hot, but not cold?
Shorts and a tee with a button up will work perfect. I layered up so if I get hot I can take one layer off and carefully place it in my backpack (mom still watching).
Disclaimer: My outfit of the day was provided by Kids Headquarters, tee is Quik Silver, Button Up Nautica.
We had so much fun at the Nintendo World Store for the Little Battlers Experience event.
We were of the first kids and parentals to watch the first episodes of Season 2 from Nickelodeon, and then we battled each other and were able to win tickets and ultimatley prizes!
I was lucky to hang out with Krysta Yang and get some inside tips take a look!
I decided to cut my hair!
Mom keeps saying she can’t see my eyes, and since Mom was taking me to the city to meet Salma Hayek I thought today was the perfect day.
That’s my sissy Gia with Denise Albert and Melissa Gerstein.
