Comic Con with my Dad

My dad works ALOT!  So spending time with him is sometimes hard.  You can’t imagine how excited, and grateful I was when Mom scored Dad and I two tickets to Comic Con!

Comic Con for us started with a breakfast at the Nintendo booth, and a little bit of playtime with YoKai Watch, due out 11/6/15.

Can’t wait to get your hands on it? I know the feeling, so I will let you in on a little secret you can actually pre-order the downloadable version HERE, or you can pre-order the retail version or the Bundle, (YO-KAI WATCH along with the Nintendo 2DS system) from Best Buy.

Review to come soon!

I then walked around with my dad and checked out some of the limited edition figures, toys and met some of the coolest characters.  Of course we shopped too!  Dad and I got the coolest Five Nights at Freddys t-shirts.

Super Mario Maker

#PlayNintendo Kid Reviewer JDPs World

Super Mario Maker is availble for the Wii U and it is the coolest game ever!

For starters Nintendo rocks!  They have now given us the chance to play Super Mario on our own board. We can create our own Mario levels by using our Wii U game pad, by simply dragging and dropping objects into the course of our choice. Yep thats right we can add, as many enemies, power ups, pipes as we want too.  I like the cool hand that comes across the screen while we are creating the levels, showing its really me creating each level.

Super Mario Maker JDP's World

I love Super Mario Maker because…

  • I have the ability to use four different Super Mario game themes, six different level themes, to create, play and save each board.
  • I can make giant Gumbas stacked on top of each other and combine enemies for uncommon outcomes like having a pirhana plant shoot cannons etc
  • You can use amibos to change into different costumes by tapping the amibo on your Wii U gamepad or by completing the 100 Mario Challenge
  • Your copy of Super Mario Maker comes with a Mario amibo, and a special booklet filled with fun ideas to design courses, like a how to get started booklet.

Let me know what you think about the game!

Puzzles & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragon Super Mario Bros.

We traveled to different worlds and recruited Mushroom Kingdom baddies, like Goombas or Koopa Troopas, and Mario characters, including Toad and my favorite Yoshi while playing Puzzles Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition game!

In the Puzzle & Dragons Z game, we battled the 5 powerful sky dragons to rebuild the world and customize my team with so many different monsters.

Release date May 22 on the same cartridge! #PlayNintendo

Fossil Fighter Frontier for Nintendo 3DS

Being a part of the Nintendo Kids Review Program I was invited with my family to a private demo of  Fossil Fighters Frontier for Nintendo 3DS at the Nintendo World Store in Manhattan.

Fossil Fighters Frontier is a great game for kids and also to play as a family so we wanted to share it with you and give you the chance to check it out, like we did before it launches this month.

Kid Review: Shopping for new Nintendo games from home via the eshop #PlayNintendo

#PlayNintendo Kid Reviewer JDPs World

Being a part of the Nintendo Kid Reviewer program has been awesome.  Recently Nintendo sent me a $20 gift card to shop at the eshop!

Mom loved the idea because it meant she didn’t have to take me to the store and wait around for hours until I decide which game to buy.  I also loved shopping the eshop because I could see what the game is about before buying it.

Have you shopped the eshop on the WiiU, or the 3DS? Or do you still shop the old fashion way of getting dressed, getting in the car, and shopping at an actual store?
